Data Use Policy
Plain-language explanation of exactly how GetCode uses your data, who sees your work, and what rights you have.
We do NOT train AI on your data
Your prompts, uploaded files, and generated outputs are never used to train any AI model — ours or our providers'. When you generate output, your prompt is sent to the AI provider solely to produce your result, then discarded. No human reads it. No model learns from it. This applies to every plan including Free.
We do NOT sell your data
GetCode does not sell, rent, or broker your personal data to any third party for any purpose. We share data only with the service providers listed on our Subprocessors page, solely to deliver the GetCode service.
Your work is NOT visible to other users by default
Everything you generate is private by default. Only you can see your generations, history, and projects. No other user — including teammates on a Team plan — can access your private work. There is no shared team feed or inbox. Each member's generations are fully isolated.
You own 100% of your generated content
All code, designs, documents, and other content generated for you belongs entirely to you. GetCode makes no IP claim on your outputs. You can use, sell, or distribute your generated content for any purpose without attribution or royalty. We only have a limited licence to process your prompts to deliver your output — nothing more.
Showcase Gallery is 100% opt-in
The public gallery only shows generations you explicitly publish by clicking "Gallery." It is never automatic. Published items show your username and output type — not your email. You can remove any item from the gallery at any time and it is deleted immediately.
We DO store your generation history
Your generated outputs are stored in your account so you can access them later. You control this entirely — you can delete individual generations from History at any time or delete your entire account to remove everything permanently.
We DO use product analytics
We use analytics to understand which features are used, where users encounter friction, and how to improve the product. Analytics track UI interactions only — never your generated content or prompt text. You can opt out by blocking analytics scripts in your browser.
